I will usually give an author three books before abandoning them as someone that I will read in the future. Got that out of the way, so now the important question: Was The Prisoner worth it? Wonder which one will go into publication… Personally, I hope it’s Ned because I think it’s more fitting to his personality. In the version that I read, the husband’s name is Ned, not Jed. Now, I’m curious after re-reading the blurb. Why has she been taken? Who are her mysterious captors?
